畠山耕治展

このたび弊社では壺中居を会場に、畠山耕治展「青銅・十の箱」を開催致します。
畠山先生の個展は２年振りとなります。
ここ近年、畠山先生は英国ならびにスコットランドでの新作発表を遂げられ、当
地では大きな反響を呼びました。
今春もアートフェア東京での新作特集が皆様のご記憶にも鮮明なことと察します。
今回発表する最新作は長年取り組んでおられる「はこ」形態の作品が限定１０点、
いずれも個性が満溢し、完成度の高いラインナップとなりました。
作家の持つ深い精神性と高度な制作技術とが相俟って、一点一点高品位たること
は云うまでも無く、有機的な生命感が今回はとりわけ表現されているものと確信
いたします。
今回は展示空間の構成も作家本人が手掛けられます。

It is a great pleasure for us to be holding this exhibition entitled Hatakeyama Koji
－Ten Bronze Boxes－,meeting place is Kochukyo Co.,3F Hall.
We held the first Hatakeyama's solo exhibition in 2007.
Mr.Hatakeyama had some opportunities to make public his new works in U.K.and
Scotland in recent years,and there were many responses to his cast-bronze works.
You may have vivid image after seeing his recent works at Art Fair Tokyo,April of
this year.
Mr.Hatakeyama have made for our gallery 10 cast-bronze boxes which each has
good quality,originality and uniqueness.
We think certainly that you may be conscious of the spirit of the artist and organism
within these boxes after seeing directly.
